Station 2
After recording their first full-length album (Stark Staring Mad) and playing for three years as a two-man loop band, original members, David Carey and Travis Whittaker, decided it was time for a change. The search for additional band members began in February of 2008 when song writing began for their sophomore album. Ultimately, this search ended with the discovery of Josh Dun (drums) and Andrew Lee (bass). Both Josh and Andrew were added to the line-up just two weeks before recording. The second full length album from Station2, entitled "Perspective", takes the listener on a journey of questioning good and evil and ends with the discovery of hope in a shattered world.

Station2 exists for the sole purpose of breathing life into a world that is searching for meaning. They believe this search for meaning is found in only one place-Jesus Christ. Their music is written to stir people and guide them to the Creator God, and expose the listener to the life changing experiences that have deepened their lives. Station2 is a firm believer in the enacting of the gospel through the local church, but does not limit their ministry within its walls by venturing out into secular venues.

In a world of standard 4 piece bands, Station2 stands out with their multiple real time loops and full layered sound. Their integration of electronic elements makes each live show unique and experimental in its own right.
